Mr. Shrikant Deshpande is an Electrical Engineer with over 35 years of experience in the Cable Industry, both in India and overseas. He possesses expertise in manufacturing cables ranging from 12 Volts Battery Cables to 400 kV Extra High Voltage (EHV) Power Cables. In his last role, he served as Vice President (Power Cables) at the esteemed Indian company, M/s Finolex Cables Ltd., where he played a key role in establishing their Medium Voltage (MV) and Extra High Voltage (EHV) cable manufacturing facilities.

Post-retirement, Mr. Deshpande served as a consultant, contributing to the establishment of 'green-field' cable manufacturing plants in Malawi, Africa, Bangladesh, and Jaipur, India. His hands-on experience extends across design, manufacture, planning, testing, and technical knowledge, with a focus on project management for Low Voltage, High Voltage, and Extra High Voltage Power Cables. Additionally, he possesses expertise in Overhead Conductor, Enamelled Wires, and Specialty Cables manufacturing.
